2020 Trip #2
Went on a day shoot with a friend from the Denver area. Another one of those days for warm weather and little wind. They got one thing right the temperature was close to 80 for a short pierod of time.
This time of the year in Colorado the Sun takes most of the morning getting the night chill out of the ground. When I said it was 80 degrees, that was for a short period of time, inside the truck with the windows rolled up. The wind blew most of the day over the cold ground making the “feels like” temp now real compfortable.
We started off in the field I shot last year with real good luck, not this time. It might have been to chilly yet, not much moved. We only shot four dogs in about an hour. Moved on to a second field where we did much better At the second field I shot 87 of the total 174 that we shot with my 223 AI.
The next day in Denver it was 14 degrees and snowing. Welcome to Colorado!!!!
